1) In 1960, 3 billion people. Now nearly 8 billion.                                               (Modern man around 200.000 years ago)

2) In 1960, about 2% of the rainforests and primeval forests has been deforested and disappeared. Today around 25% and it is going very fast now.

3) In 1960 there were hardly any reliable figures on the expenditure of the military arms industry, 'top secret', but that was a small percentage of what is being spent now. Now its over the 1700 billion dollars. When half of this money is spent worldwide on education, healthcare, poverty reduction and welfare for our planet, the future would be more positive.

4) In the late 1950s my parents bought their first car, their first TV, telephone.  Today we have everything, but we over consume.                                                       (To compensate our spiritual emptiness?)

5) Since the early 80s, with the advent of the market capitalist system, there have been hardly any wage increases. That a household was going to earn more, had more to do with the fact that many women started working. But they are crumbs and the rich are getting extremely richer. The proportions are complete disrupted.

Our Problems are that we think we have Time.

1) In 1960, 3 miljard mensen. Nu bijna 8 miljard mensen.  (Moderne man bestaat ongeveer 200.000 jaar)                       

2) In 1960 is ongeveer 2% van de regenwouden en oerbossen ontbost en verdwenen. Vandaag ongeveer 25% en het gaat erg snel.

3) In 1960 waren er nauwelijks betrouwbare cijfers te vinden over de uitgaven van de militaire wapenindustrie, 'topgeheim' , maar dat was een klein percentage van wat er nu wordt uitgegeven. Nu is dat ruim 1700 miljard dollars. Wanneer de helft van dit geld wereldwijd besteed wordt aan onderwijs, zorg, armoedebestrijding en welzijn voor onze planeet, zou de toekomst positiever zijn.

4) Begin jaren 60 kochten mijn ouders hun eerste auto, hun eerste tv, hun eerste telefoon. Vandaag hebben we alles, maar we consumeren te veel.  (Om onze spirituele leegte te compenseren?)

5) Sinds het begin van de jaren 80, met de komst van het marktkapitalistische systeem, zijn er nauwelijks loonsverhogingen geweest. Dat een huishouden meer ging verdienen, had meer te maken met het feit dat veel vrouwen gingen werken. Maar het zijn kruimels en de rijken worden extreem rijker. De verhoudingen zijn compleet verstoord.

Ons Probleem is dat we denken dat we Tijd hebben

Brothers and Sisters, we must free ourselves from the consuming money powers and the immoral habits that these have brought. Capitalism should not divide us any further, so that we remain each other's enemies. We are all brothers and sisters. It can be different, it must be different.

A forgotten brotherhood                                                                                                                     

Today, the realization that we are all brothers and sisters seems further away than ever. The wars has never really ceased, only the opposing armies have changed. We have forgotten this ancient brotherhood. It has disappeared from our collective consciousness.

Een vergeten Broederschap                           

Vandaag de dag lijkt de wetenschap dat wij allen broeders en zusters zijn verder weg dan ooit. Oorlogen zijn nooit echt opgehouden, alleen zijn de strijdende partijen veranderd. We zijn het vergeten, die broederschap. Het is uit ons collectief bewustzijn verdwenen.

When the Spanish conquistador Francisco de Orellana in 1541, explored a majestic river, surrounded by a green oasis of unprecedented beauty in a pristine paradise and accompanied by mysterious animal sounds, he ran into a local tribe. A subsequent battle was fought at the mouth of the Madeira. In the record of the monk Gaspar de Carvajal, he wrote that their attackers consisted of female warriors. These were promptly called Amazons, after the female warriors of Greek mythology. This is how the Amazon forest and the river got their name.

Now, a new conquistador has appeared in the Amazon. One that hates homosexuals, Indians, black and colored Brazilians, and women. He is a danger to the entire planet, because his government heralds the end of the Amazon rainforest. He calls himself 'the Trump of the Tropics', but he might just be much worse than Trump. Jair Bolsonaro, the new president of Brazil, desires a return of the military dictatorship. Everyone who disagrees, must pay for it. Bolsonaro owes his success largely to corruption, and the enormous anger of the people over the greedy political class. 

This is the climate created by Capitalism and Neoliberalism, a climate of corrupt and failing politicians.

Toen de Spaanse conquistador Francisco de Orellana in 1541, een majestueuze rivier afvoer, omgeven door een groene oase van ongekende schoonheid in een ongerept paradijs, begeleid door talloze mysterieuze dierengeluiden, liep hij een plaatselijke indianenstam tegen het lijf. Dit resulteerde in een veldslag bij de monding van de Madeira. In het reisverslag van de monnik Gaspar de Carvajal schreef hij dat de aanvallers bestonden uit vrouwelijke krijgers. Hij is een gevaar voor de hele planeet, omdat zijn regering het einde van het Amazonewoud gaat betekenen. Eentje die zichzelf 'de Trump van de Tropen' noemt, alleen is deze populist veel erger dan Trump. Jair Bolsonaro, de nieuwe president van Brazilië, wil een terugkeer naar de militaire dictatuur. Iedereen die ‘anders’ is of denkt, moet het ontgelden. Bolsonaro dankt zijn succes grotendeels aan de corruptie en enorme woede van het volk aangaande de zakkenvullende politieke klasse. Dit is het klimaat dat het Kapitalisme en Neoliberalisme heeft voortgebracht, een klimaat van corrupte en falende politici.

Saterday, September 15, there was a demonstration for JUSTICE, organized by the SP, a struggle that I fight all my life, a struggle against INJUSTICE

A new, young, militant face, Lilian Marijnissen who deserves all the support, who is honest, who has her heart in the right place, who makes a clearer and louder sound, against market capitalism, which are the actual causes of all misery

I shook hands with some people and sometimes had a fleeting conversation. I introduced myself to former leader of the SP, Emile Roemer and after that I saw Mr. Dennis de Jong, European Parliament, with whom I already exchanged some correspondence. A man of my heart, wise and honest and I intend to pick up our contact again. I also briefly spoke with Tiny Kox, former party chairman and current chairman Ron Meyer, and I am going to send a few emails, because I want to mean more for society.


The most interesting conversation was with Cobie Groenendijk, Duo council member of the Sp in Amsterdam and works as a psychiatrist in Amsterdam. She studied medicine, law and theology. An intriguing, open, intelligent and wise woman who is extremely committed to healthcare and the public sector. Where more than 60 billion is cut on, in health care, in education, the police, defense, environment, it does not stop, really scandalous. But 2 billion dividend tax reduction. "That creates more employment," says Rutte, but every thinking person knows that it is a colored version of the truth. Invest in the public sector.


I would like to say something too, but there was too little time and too tight a schedule, because I think my voice represented many among us.
 

               THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO SAY

 "Stop the Greed, Enough is Enough, Finish Market Capitalism"
 We are still fighting, the people, for the crumbs that the richest and most powerful are throwing at us. That is NOW and that used to be, where the nobility and richest ate their well-filled table at their fill and then threw the crumbs on the ground. The common people fought for the leftovers and the high men said to each other with disdainful laughter, (narcissism is never far away from overfilled tables and empathy is unknown); "We are doing well, because we still give them food".

Now the multinationals, the banks, the elite are calling; "We are doing well, because we still provide jobs", and still the ordinary people are fighting for the crumbs. We are afraid of our jobs, of the many uncertainties, afraid to work even harder and longer, and we blame minorities, such as refugees, such as Mexicans, Eastern Europeans, Gays. Older people, anyone who represents a minority, because 'divide and rule', still works excellently.



But the real causes remain out of the picture and we must continue to focus, on market capitalism, the multinationals, some royalties, the Vatican, in short, the 1% richest of the Earth, because not only in the Netherlands it becomes more and more a problem. No, it is a global problem and as long as greed rule, nothing changes.


Fortunately, there are many people who have a great, loving and justice heart and let us give those people a voice, let them and your voice be heard. Vote and let your voice be heard, because that is the only way to truly be heard and to really change something.

Vandaag, 15 september was er een demonstratie voor RECHTVAARDIGHEID, georganiseerd door de SP, een strijd die ik mijn hele leven strijd, een strijd tegen ONRECHTVAARDIGHEID. 

Een nieuw jong strijdbaar gezicht, Lilian Marijnissen die alle steun verdiend, die integer is, die haar hart op de juiste plaats heeft, die een duidelijker en harder geluid laat horen, tegen het marktkapitalisme, die de werkelijke veroorzakers zijn.

Ik heb enkele mensen de hand mogen schudden en soms een vluchtig gesprek gehad. Even mij voorgesteld aan voormalig leider van de SP, Emile Roemer en daarna zag ik de Heer Dennis de Jong,  Europarlementariër van de SP, waarmee ik al enige correspondentie heb uitgewisseld. Een man van mijn hart, wijs en integer en ik ben van plan om ons contact weer op te pakken. Ook heb ik met Tiny Kox, oud fractievoorzitter en met huidig voorzitter Ron Meyer kort gesproken en ik ga enkelen een mailtje sturen, want ik wil meer betekenen voor de samenleving.


Het meest interessante gesprek was toch met Cobie Groenendijk, Duo raadslid van de Sp in Amsterdam en werkt als psychiater in Amsterdam. Ze studeerde geneeskunde, rechten en theologie. Een intrigerend, open, intelligente en wijze vrouw die zich super inzet voor de zorg en de publieke sector. Waar meer dan 60 miljard is op bezuinigd, bij de zorg, in het onderwijs, de politie, defensie, milieu, het houdt niet op, werkelijk schandalig. Maar wel 2 miljard dividendbelasting verlaging. "Dat zorgt voor meer werkgelegenheid", zegt Rutte, maar elk weldenkend mens weet dat het een gekleurde versie van de waarheid is. Investeer in de publieke sector.


Ik had ook graag wat willen zeggen, maar er was te weinig tijd en een te strak schema, want ik denk dat mijn stem velen onder ons vertegenwoordigd.


                         DIT IS WAT IK WILDE ZEGGEN

 "Stop de Hebzucht, Genoeg is Genoeg, Eindig MarktKapitalisme".



Nog steeds vechten wij, het volk, om de kruimels die de rijksten en machtigsten ons toewerpen. Dat is NU en dat was vroeger, waar de adel en rijksten aan een welgevulde tafel hun buik vol aten en dan de kruimels op de grond gooiden. De gewone mensen vochten voor de restjes en de hoge heren zeiden minachtend lachend tegen elkaar, (narcisme is nooit ver weg van overgevulde tafels en empathy kent men niet); "Wij doen goed, want wij geven ze toch eten".


Nu roepen de multinationals, de banken, de elite; "We doen goed, want we zorgen toch voor banen", en nog steeds vechten de gewone mensen om de kruimels. Wij zijn bang voor onze banen, voor de vele onzekerheden, bang om nog harder en langer te moeten werken en wij geven minderheden de schuld, zoals vluchtelingen, zoals Mexicanen, Oost- Europeanen, Homo's. Ouderen, iedereen die een minderheid vertegenwoordigd, want 'verdeel en heers', werkt nog steeds uitstekend.


Maar de werkelijke veroorzakers blijven buiten beeld en daar moeten wij ons op blijven focussen, op het marktkapitalisme, de multinationals, enkele royalty's, het Vaticaan, kortom, de 1% rijksten der Aarde, want niet alleen in Nederland wordt het meer en meer een probleem, nee, het is een wereldwijd probleem en zolang de hebzucht regeert, verandert er niets.



Gelukkig zijn er veel mensen die een groot, liefdevol en rechtvaardig hart hebben en laten we die mensen een stem geven, laat hun en Uw stem gehoord worden. Stem en laat uw stem horen, want dat is de enige manier om werkelijk gehoord te worden en om werkelijk iets te veranderen.

Why always increase the budget, so that the threat of war increases instead of decreasing. I predict that when money goes to poverty reduction and education the threat is diminishing from war. It is only about money, power and suppression of the people.

On 25-5-2017 and 11-07-2018, Donald Trump, the President of America, visited Brussels and the NATO. His visit concluded that Europe must meet its obligations and buy more mass destruction weapons for the security and democracy of the Western and free world. In a clumsy, arrogant and disrespectful way he insult America's best and most loyal allies.

After Trump had closed a mega-deal in Saudi Arabia about mass destruction weapons and announced that he would raise America's budget, he once again spoke about more money for the arms industry in Europe. His first foreign trip was purely a business trip for the American arms industry. The rest was clean shine and baked air. 

Trump is the best weapon lobbyist. American weapons come first, of course.

             The Immorality of Neoliberalism

If we speak of liberalism, or neoliberalism, in today’s society, it’s usually in a negative sense. And that is remarkable, because liberalism was originally intended to 'liberalize' the citizen, that is, to free him from the ruling elite. How then did modern liberalism become a new instrument of oppression? And why is it time to take a new look at this prevailing system?

As much freedom as possible

Liberalism is more or less a product of the French Revolution, in which both the middle and lower classes revolted against the oppression of the nobility. A revolt that, considering the absolutist power of the latter, was fully justified. Freedom, equality and brotherhood, that's what it was about.


After the overthrow of the feudal rulers, it was time to establish a society in which the individual enjoyed as much freedom as possible. In essence, liberals (and neoliberals) strive for a society in which citizens enjoy great liberties, such as the civil rights that protect the individual, and measures that limit the power of the state. So in that sense, liberalism has brought us a lot of good.


Yet this formula (as much freedom as possible equals as little government as possible) is the instigator of much inequality and oppression in modern times. 

         De Immoraliteit van het Neoliberalisme

Als iemand het vandaag de dag heeft over liberalisme, of neoliberalisme, dan is dat meestal in negatieve zin. En dat is opvallend, want het liberalisme werd oorspronkelijk in het leven geroepen om de burger te ‘liberaliseren’, dus te bevrijden, van de heersende elite. Hoe is het moderne liberalisme dan verworden tot een nieuw instrument van onderdrukking? En waarom wordt het tijd deze dominante stroming opnieuw tegen het licht te houden?

Zoveel mogelijk vrijheid

Het liberalisme is min of meer een kind van de Franse Revolutie, waarin zowel de midden- als de onderklasse in opstand kwamen tegen de onderdrukking van de adel. Een stroming die, gezien de absolutistische macht van de laatste, volkomen gerechtvaardigd was. Vrijheid, gelijkheid en broederschap, daar ging het om. 


Na het omverwerpen van de feodale heersers vond men het tijd om een maatschappij op te richten met zoveel mogelijk vrijheid van het individu. In wezen streven liberalen (en ook neoliberalen) naar een samenleving waarin burgers grote vrijheden genieten, zoals de burgerrechten die het individu beschermen, en maatregelen die de macht van de staat beperken. Het liberalisme heeft ons dus veel goeds gebracht.


Toch is deze formule (zoveel mogelijk vrijheid = zo weinig mogelijk overheid) in de moderne tijd aanstichter van veel ongelijkheid en onderdrukking.
